As part of the Vermont Festival of the Arts “Barns and Bridges of the Valley,” we are offering a tour of the Madsonian’s 1891 carriage barn and the adjacent Great Eddy covered bridge, the oldest covered bridge in continuous use in Vermont! This stop on the Valley wide tour is from 1-3 pm. The Madsonian Museum is open from 12-4 on Sunday.
Stop by to learn about the interesting layers of history in this building and its neighboring bridge. Don’t forget to check out the great collection of industrial design while you’re at it!
